Everything you need to size sofa, sectional, and cushion covers without guesswork. Switch between centimeters and inches. If you’re on the edge between sizes, choose the larger for an easier, smoother tuck.
Quick rule: Measure straight across from the outside edge of one arm to the other—keep the tape level, don’t follow curves.
Sofa & Corner Sofa Covers — Size Table
Ranges are measured arm-to-arm. Use the unit switch that matches your tape measure.
Size
Length (arm-to-arm)
1 Seater
2 Seater
3 Seater
4 Seater

Hint: If your result is close to the upper bound, size up for easier tucking and fewer wrinkles.
Fit tip: Rolled or extra-wide arms can add visual width. Add ~5–8 cm (2–3") before choosing a size.
Style idea: Solid neutrals are the most forgiving for first-time covers. Add texture (waffle, jacquard) to disguise pet hair and everyday creases.
Not all sofas are alike. From compact loveseats to expansive U-shapes, sofa beds, and armchairs—each shape has its own measurement points. Use this chart as a visual reference before checking the size tables.
Examples include single seat, loveseat/2-seater, 3-seater, chaise lounges, sectional L-shapes, U-shapes, armchairs, sofa beds, and futons. Follow the orange lines for where to measure.See All Sofa Covers
Corner Sofas & L-Shaped Sofas
Order one cover per section. Your sofa must have a visible gap to tuck the fabric between sections.
Two-piece L-shape: choose a size for A and a size for B.Three-piece L-shape: choose sizes for A, B, and C independently.
Measure section A (arm-to-arm or edge-to-edge). Choose the size from the table above.
Measure section B the same way and choose its size independently.
If either section is between sizes, choose the larger.
Note: If your chaise connects without a gap, universal covers may not tuck securely—consider separate slipcovers.
Layout tip: Mirrored L-shapes (left vs right chaise) measure the same—just be consistent about which side you call A.
Choose the larger size. The elastic hem and foam sticks make tucking easy, and a little extra fabric helps you get a smoother, tailored finish.
Will the cover fit sofas with wide or rounded arms? ›
Yes. Add 2–3" (5–8 cm) to your measurement to account for arm depth. If your arms are especially bulky, size up for better coverage.
How do I keep covers from slipping? ›
Tuck the provided foam sticks firmly into the gaps. On leather, use anti-slip pads or a thin cotton throw underneath for extra grip.
Care & washing instructions ›
Machine wash cold, gentle cycle. Do not bleach. Tumble dry low or line-dry to preserve elasticity. Remove promptly to reduce creasing.
Color & room styling advice ›
For small rooms, lighter tones open up space. In busy family rooms, mid-tone neutrals (greige, taupe) hide daily wear better than pure white. Add contrasting pillows to define shape.
Conversion: 1 inch = 2.54 cm. Stretch fabric tolerates small variances. When in doubt, size up.
